Yes there is. As an official partner of Major League Hacking, all hackers adhere to the code of conduct found here. They also adhere to the Major League Hacking Data Sharing Provision found here.

The event will be in 241 & 243 in the student center MPR's. We will also be providing shuttles from SUNY Potsdam to Clarkson. See below for the event location and parking instructions!
Nope! People can build whatever they would like with whatever tools they desire. We encourage you to use whatever you want to build your project!
The hackathon is open to all matriculated college students over the age of 18, professors and alumni. We will ask you for a student ID when you check in.
Currently attending college students are eligible for prizes and alumni that have graduated within 1 year.
No code can be written until the event kicks off. No finishing previously started projects. Libraries and frameworks are allowed. All participants abide by the code of conduct.
You’ll have a chance to share it the day of the event. We expect the teams to form organically.
Everyone will have the opportunity to showcase their projects on Sunday.
Talk with people about their ideas and find which interests you the most! You can be on multiple teams if you would like, but we encourage you to just be on one team.
We recommend you stay for a majority of the time and encourage you to come and participate as much as you can.
5 people max per team. If you exceed this, we can't guarantee all winners a prize.
Please bring a valid college ID (if you're an alumni, please let us know beforehand on the sign up sheet), laptop, charger, and eagerness to build something awesome!
Of course! Raspberry pis, arduino boards, oculus rifts, etc. are all welcome.
We cannot provide laptops, however COSI and ITL will be open with 36 desktops for people to use during the event.
Yes, if you would like to just stop by to hang out and learn about the hackathon you are more than welcome to. Again, we encourage you to participate.
As long as you have interest and passion for a project - there will be a way for you to make an impact. Trust us.
If you don’t mind uncomfortable sleeping spots, sure. The doors will be locking at some point, and we'll update this when we get an exact time. If you can stay up for all 24 hours though, you are indeed a trooper.
We are not offering reimbursement for travel.
